None of you have Warren Morris or Tommy Hodson....or even Herb Tyler- talk about heart with all these guys...I didnt see Dalton Hilliard-one of the all time best....Eric Martin...Chris Jackson )Makmood Abdul Raoof...whatever or whoever the f he is now a days.....Eric Andolsek- all the charity work he did before he died- you all are so young, dont rememebr those great players in the early 80's that truly put LSU on the map...what about Billy Cannon...you guys suck with your lists!!

Since we're talkin all time, you youngsters should read up on LSU history.

Football.. Steve Van Buren, Y.A Tittle

Baseball.. Alvin Dark (also played RB in FB)

Best two sport... Billy Cannon (no even close)

I think it is stupid to include guys you have never seen play(at any level)

I dind't know seeing them play was a prerequisite !

Does that mean I can't be a fan of people like Babe Ruth,Lou Gehrig,Joe DiMaggio,Hank Aaron,Willy Mays and such?

this list could be MUCH better

Actually that list can't get that MUCH better... All of those players were or are now pretty much full time starters in the Majors.

I am going to limit list to the guys I saw play and they are my favorites as opposed to being teh best:

Chris Jackson
Lane Mestepey (may strike some of you as an odd pick but the kid was such a gamer)
Michael Brooks
Kevin Faulk
Eric Andolsek

I remember that it seemed like EVERY GAME that mofo went the distance... If we lost, it was like 3-2 with him pitching a complete game 5 hitter or something. Loved the guy.

Shaq
Ben McDonald
Pete Marivich
Billy Cannon

5th spot is tricky. I could go with Kevin Faulk, Skip Bertman, Bob Petit or Glenn Dorsey.
