If you watched that entire game VS Houston then you would say it’s that memorable.
Well, to be honest, Faulk fumbled it away in the first half, which is what lead to the impressive second half.

One that never gets mentioned because it came in a loss, in an otherwise ugly game, is Kevin Minter's performance vs. Florida in 2012. He had 20 tackles (17 solo) which included 3 TFL's, 2 sacks and a forced fumble.

How you gonna leave out Kevin Faulk vs Houston? It wasn't THAT long ago.

If we're including basketball, Tremont Waters at the end of the Texas A&M game in the 2017-2018 season. He only had 21 points in the game but the last few shots plus the buzzer beater he made were insane. Down 63-68 with 18 seconds left and he made two contested 35+ footers.

TM7 vs Arkansas 2011.
I'm biased to games I got to attend. We were down 14-7 late in the 2nd qtr, offense was doing nothing of coarse and the stadium exploded with that return. One of the best memories I've had in the stadium. He dominated the whole game, forced fumble, numerous tackles. Never seen a player control a game like he was able to from the defense side of the ball, especially a non DLineman.

Kevin Minter at Florida in 2012. He made approximately 75 tackles, had a few sacks and forced a fumble despite being treated for cramps like half the game.

It is often easy to see an outstanding individual offensive performance because usually the player performing has the ball in his hands. Although I can't recall the specific games, I remember seeing a few outstanding performances by linemen, particularly guards Eric Andolsek and Stephen Peterman, who won games for LSU by pulling around the center and crushing a defensive end or linebacker to allow LSU to make crucial first downs or touchdowns that sealed wins. I can similarly nominate fullback Mike Montz' performance in the 1979 Southern Cal game.
On the defensive side 20 tackles or a couple interceptions are obvious, but other outstanding individual efforts often go without acclaim. I know the thread is not about team performance but the team defensive performances at 1970 Notre Dame, 1971 Notre Dame, and 1982 Alabama were awesom. In 1970, number 1 ranked Notre Dame was only able to win 3-0 after an controversial pass interference call put them in position to kick a field goal with only a few minutes left in the game. In the 1971 rematch in Tiger stadium, the defense stuffed ND on 4th down inside our 10 yard line FOUR times, once from the six inch line. The ND offensive line outweighed our DLine by 40 lbs. per man. In 1982, Alabama did not even make a first down in the first half of the game.

I never realized it until a year or so later when Moscona was talking about it on AFR(probably before the 2013 game). Minter was on a rampage that day in 2012.

In Carlos Carson's first game as an LSU starter (agianst Rice), he had five TD receptions. Not a bad game. Record still stands.
