Correct
But at the same time, this is a requirement to be a big time head coach. You have to shake your tin cup. You have to rub elbows, play politics, attend all the events. Basically you have to be a politician and run a football team.
It’s why they make so much money. Zero excuses these days IMO. LSU has the money to be in the mix every year. It may take a little more elbow grease than it does at Texas, but it’s accomplishable.
That’s why Kelly makes the big bucks.

Meh. Shite's happened for years.
Tons of "rankers" would routinely place David Cutcliffe over Les Miles.
Then the season would happen and Miles' team would compete for a natty and Cutcliffe's team would be excited when they won more than 7 games in a season

I wonder how many of the posters arguing BK should be higher are the same posters saying he should be fired in other threads?
