So you can never point out negatives the team needs to fix? Like ever? Hope the team doesnt have that mindset. You should always point out the bad as well as the good. Only way you get better.

10 wins should be our floor. It allows us to lose to 3 opponents. There arent 3 teams as talented as us on our schedule.

I'm all for the wins but these days it's all about the style points. The ugly LSU wins bring out the Negatigers.

I would like to be a 1, 2 loss tops program.
Basically on par with UGA.
I fully believe LSU could be that and at least compete for championships. I'm not even asking for an undefeated season, but at least compete against Alabama like Georgia has. And yes, I know we beat UGA. We still have to make better decisions against UF and A&M. Those were winnable games.
Today isn't a day to complain though. I was just responding to your take of wanting an undefeated season.
I am so thankful we won. This is very big moving forward. As well as the top 5 class you mentioned. Really hoping we get into the top 3.

All of the things you listed have happened before and still LSU has met none of the 3 above goals.
Until they can do that, previous years' wins, recruiting ranking, and pre-season ranking don't mean dick.
I hope LSU wins every game from now until I die, but the moral victories this fanbase are willing to accept in lieu of actually accomplishing something of meaning is sickening.

dont need to go into the obvious cons but I love 10 wins knowing we were only a count hair away from 11 or 12 and I love this recruiting class. I also really liked the way the team responded today. It was all hands on deck and it just looked like they had alot of fun fighting together. UCF or not it was a very good win for the players to go into next year. :geauxtigers:

LSU doesn't need to win it all. They just need to be on a level where they are competing year in and year out. Considering LSU's resources and talent, it's not unreasonable to expect that.
As of right now, they aren't anywhere close to being able to even compete for the West/SEC let alone the Playoff.
Glad they won today. But it had no bearing on this seasons' outcome as a success or failure.
