How am I lying? You said people think Mainieri is a god. They don’t. You think people are completely fine with the results. They’re not. You literally take the most extreme position possible on every single topic, regardless of sport, on this board. And you love to say “insert result” is “unacceptable at LSU” and then some bullshite about lowered standards. Quite frankly, you sound like a child or a wanna-be hardo.
Mainieri is a top 5 coach in this sport right now. That is not up for debate. He is. He is not perfect and should have won at least one more national title than he has. Do I think he can do better? Yes. Do I think we should fire him? No. Do I think we could find someone better that would take the job? Probably not.

C'mon Kingy. Pointing out that there haven't been any other active baseball coaches in college than Mainieri isn't saying he's a god. You're better than that. No one is treating him like a god.

It’s hyperbole, people treat him as infallible, nobody’s better and that he’s irreplaceable and nobody could do better. All these things have been either said or argued in this thread.
