Yep, but you won't hear a peep about it from Kelly.
Kelly is a politician and doesn’t want to piss off SEC bigs.

He swung around the QB using facemask, twisted his head around and helmet eventually off, and he was staring right at his own hand while doing it. He then acted like it was an accident after the play. Same game he later “accidentally” shoved Dart’s head into the ground after a tackle.
quote:That's ridiculous. There is no rule by which the SEC could suspend him for facemasking. And shoving a player's head into the ground is done in every football game.
If rules don’t suspend someone for doing this and then making it worse by shoving his head into the ground after play no one should be suspended for anything.
The targeting is different. There is a clear rule, which he violated. He should have been suspended for that.

I might be in the minority but I didn’t think the hit on Daniel’s was that big of a deal.

Needs the leg swept and taken out of commission

Turner likes to lift and drive players full force into the ground. The only fix is for a 300+Lb OL to do the same to him. They'll get flagged obviously, but if the league won't act you have no option but to retaliate. Drive him into the ground.

Wonder if the Alabama coaches told him to put JD out of the game with a head shot

The hit on Ewers was just a good hard play, but the other three are thuggish.
Of course, it's Bama, so what's the big deal? Remember the Bama WR using TWO FEET to kick a Tenner defensive player after a score? Apparently the rules still don't apply even though Saban's bestie is no longer the president of the NCAA.

Dirty play by the the dirtiest player on the dirtiest team in college football. I seriously hope that he gets a career ending injury in the near future. Classless fricks like that are incapable of being anything other than trash.

Until people can let go stop buying tickets and stop watching the games, the SEC has no reason to stop promoting this type of thing to keep alabamamama on top

If it’s only a 15 yard penalty, why not do that to the qb the first time he hands the ball off on a read option every game? Grab the face mask and spin him around to the ground- not possible to get ejected?

If the idea is player safety this kind of repeated offense HAS to have consequences... or admit you don't really care about it.
