Okay….he had half of his hits for the season in one game against a less than stellar pitching staff. He is hitting .263 with 1 homer outside that one game.
quote:Yes, even for RF it’s bad.
his fielding has been horrible

OP, who do you want to sit for the guys you mentioned?
I wouldn’t mind seeing Beloso get a start at DH in place of Jones for a game against a righty.
When White is back at 3rd and Tre goes back to 1B I’d like to see Pearson and Kling platoon.

They will all get plenty opportunities this weekend with a 4 game set and then the midweek against Lamar next week. Alot of baseball in the next 6 days and I think you see other players get in to get at bats.
Beloso will not take Jones DH spot when White comes back. Jones will have freshman type at bats at times but then his ability to hit the ball all over the field with authority is something you don't really teach. He is just super strong. More at bats for him early means the better he should get come SEC play and toward the end of the season. He needs plenty reps because when it comes down to it at the end of the season this lineup is best with him in it.

To be fair since after the first series teams has been so afraid to throw fastballs our way. Which in my opinion says alot about how good this team is.

The good news is that this looks to be the best pitching staff that LSU has ever had; this will give us a chance to win any game that we play. The hitting leaves a lot to be desired at this time. We swing at way too many breaking pitches that are not strikes; this is causing too many strike outs. I am sure the lineup will be constantly tweaked moving forward. Jobert's play in the outfield needs to improve.
Best pitching staff LSU’s ever had? LSU has ONE strong starting pitcher right now & that is Skene. Find a reliable Sat guy & team is in good shape.

He's hitting frickin .360. Is that really not good enough for some people?

Beloso is one of the last hold outs from the Marinara Regime of players that were really cocky but just not that good at baseball.
These type of comments are stupid and immature. If the guy was not ANY GOOD at baseball, he wouldnt be on the roster. If you have a critique, thats fine, but the not good at baseball is just stupid!!!!!!

This is weak. The entire season so far is already a small sample size. You are pulling out the good from that small sample size and just using the bad. Hitting . 360 is hitting .360 period.

And his bat isnt the only part of his game, his fielding has been horrible
It has.
