Beckwith far and away the most important piece we could get back. We are so thin at lb and he really could have an all American year with Aranda. Please come back.

He's also the signal caller for the defense. His return is pivotal, IMO.

The way he pass rushed against TTech Aranda is going to line him up all over.

Pauline used to be SI's draft guy. He's pretty good.

Exactly, with Aranda moving him around, Beckwith will have the opportunity to showcase himself at DE,OLB, and ILB. That type of play making flexiblity would make him a first rounder.

He should. He didn't have the dominant junior season that would warrant leaving.

I think he'd be okay going to the NFL, but I think he can improve his stock a lot potentially by staying one more year. Aranda apparently does well with LB's, and Chris Borland comes to mind as a guy KB follows to NFL success.

Yes Borland retired after only 1 season, but he was good in that one season.

Considering LSU needs good LB's, its HUGE that he stays, because it not only gives us a really good player, but gives LSU depth, leadership, and they can bring along other guys (Divinity, Fowler) to start a good LB tradition at LSU. FINALLY the LB spot might be a STRONG point. Hopefully everything else stays the same, although DL has a lot of improvement to make, but I think Ed O is already doing a great job.
