The 98 O-Line was much better than 09? Remember Alan Faneca and Todd McClure. They're both starting for NFL teams right now.

Where is all the talent? Our OL and DL are decimated. Have you seen the list of signees we have lost the past 3 years. There's your talent.
They are playing for someone else now. We did not sign/retain a QB for 3 years. Because LM thought Perrioux had high character and hung his hat on him.

Just because they sign doesn't mean they ever see the field. We have done a horrible job of choosing and retaining talent. Those Rivals ranking are only good on Feb. 5th. Check the list 2 or 3 years later and you will see the truth.

QUIT USING THIS - "WE HAVE MORE TALENT" to make your case. It doesn't hold water and it makes you look very uninformed.

Dude he made a fricking assessment and didn't turn out to be quite what he expected.

if he looked at that o-line in practice and even ALMOST thought that they would be a good line, let alone a great one, then that just proves my point even more.

Tubbs had 1 I said 1 I mean 1, I'll say it again 1 f@cking BCS bowl season in 10 yrs of coaching at Aub and some of you are wanting to crown the guy. And for the OP please stop posting and go play in the street.

So you are comparing post Terry Bowden Auburn to LSU. TT did as well as anyone could ever expect to do in a state where there is really one school. As far as playing in the street that's where your sister told me to meet her...

LSU does not have the developed talent of UF or Bama across the lines. Its just a fact.

Maybe if he had a decent D-Line to judge off of he would have made a more accurate assessment.

A guru like Miles should be able to see a "great" o-line when pushing a sled.

I also know he could easily finish 4-4.

"COULD"

Another thing... while talking about UF and UA taking it to the next level.

UF has taken it to the next level.

But has UA? What have they done? Again it is "COULD". You people that can see the future, please share the powerball numbers with me. Would UA be doing this if they played a #1 and a #2 like LSU? NO! They are having a hard team with their much easier teams. They had all they could handle from a #9 team who all the Rantards are saying is terrible.

Now UF has taken it to the next level. But would they be doing it without Tebow and playing against a #1 and #2 in the same season? Who knows

So you're saying a guy like Miles who has played o-line, been an o-line coach in the NFL etc... can't see a bad o-line or a good one no matter the competition? (the sled comment was what we call hyperbole. I'm sure you don't know what that word means though)

so so true Elleshoe

Its not just him.

I will say the love for Saban for some of these guys is so sweet and passionate, that last Saturday was probably a pretty good day for them.

why can't some of you get it through your skulls? I don't hate Miles. I said he's pretty good but LSU can do better. And show me one time where I showed love for Saban by saying I wanted him to come back. Show me one 1-59. go ahead.

so you're okay with the fact that Alabama with equal talent has won 7..that's right SEVEN more games than LSU over less than a 2 year span??? If you're happy with that you should be a Tulane or ULL fan.

And what about the 2 years prior? And the 2 years prior to that? And what of the 2 years prior to that?

You do realize things are cyclical in CFB.

Faneca wasn't on the 98 team, he left early. and 99 was probably our worst line in recent memory. carry on.

Why does LSU deserve better? Who crowned LSU a football powerhouse? I tell you who deserves better than LSU, Michigan and Notre Dame. So you can stay disgusted where LSU is, but the fact you can't seem to get through your skull is that this program is where it should be. An 11-1, 10-2, 9-3, team with an occasional National championship in the mix.

no team "deserves" shite in any sport at any level by just being a name. I said LSU could hire a coach that I think would fit LSU and the SEC better than Les Miles. Not saying he's an awful coach or he beats his wife or some shite...
