The word I hear is Tubberville is going to Texas A & M.

I don't think Tubby would put himself in another "Auburn like" situation. Tx A&M is a good program but will always play second fiddle recruiting wise to Texas just as Auburn does to Bama. I also think Tubby is a fantastic coach as he won at 2 places (Ole Miss & AU) that are not SEC elite programs and he did it fairly consistently. This makes you wonder what he could do with LSU talent.
From what I hear and think Tubby is watching our situation with earnest. He has made it no secret of his interest in our job. I think if something happens with Miles it's his job to turn down.
Tommy Tubberville a.k.a. "The Ole Riverboat Gambler" head coach of the Bayou Bengals.
Just thinking about this excites me! What say you?
This is under the pure speculation that something happens to Miles i.e. Michigan in a year or so..

LSU and A&M should start their series back again.

frick. That.
Good coach, but not a guy I'd ever want running the program.

I still remember Todd Kitchen zig-zagging about 250 yds fir that 60yd TD catch..that play contained one of the more brutal blocks that LSU has ever seen laid by Eddie Fuller. There..I just dated myself!

Tubberville is a great coach. I think that would be a great thing for LSU!

Honestly curious why you say that? Is it something from Auburn? We have to remember that he was never really in charge at Auburn. I can't remember what his name is but there is a big booster that makes all the major decisions up there. I.e. it was his plane that flew him and the AD to secretly interview Petrino..I think it's David something??

Is it time for a coaching board yet?

Let me guess..you either think Miles is here for the long run or want Saban back?

Um...yeah. The guy showed his arse numerous times to LSU. It's entirely personal.

I say if we get rid of Miles and consider Tuberville,we should just drop the sport.

I'd take Tubby over Miles.

you guessed wrong.
Covered TT at Ole Miss. He is Lord of the Douchebags, thanks for playing

Tubbs was one of the best coaches in the SEC. He was at least on Meyer's level IMO. He coached at schools that were difficult jobs compared to LSU and was very competitive with LSU. He would be great here if the situation was ever there.
