I'm for something like the ring of honor which would be similar to retiring a jersey but not a number. As it stands now, Faulk is the only player that I feel should have their number retired. Because Burrow and Daniel were only here for 2 years, 1 good year and 1 great year, I wouldn't say theri numbers should be retired, but I think they should be honored.

Honestly, retired numbers should be for Heisman winners only. That should literally be the benchmark. I think Casanova, Stovall and Alexander were great players as well - but post-Burrow, I think the bar has been set.

Have to be very selective on this issue. The only players that should be considered is Joe and Jayden since they won a Heisman. But Joe should get the nod since he won a natty and went undefeated.

I’m torn on retiring Hodson’s jersey, however, kudos to the OP for making his case with facts and analysis relevant to today’s game. He put something on the table worth considering.
