All we've got to do is load the box. I'll take our secondary over their recievers any day. I see at least 2 picks for the tigers!

and how do you propose they do this with the Quarterback play they have?

What an uneducated and moronic comment by McShay.

To be honest, I don't think TT is the best WR on this team. Randle has the most fluid hips, runs the best routes, and has the best hands of any of our receivers.

This.

Ask PP who is the toughest cover on the LSU team. It's RR.

All those passes I see hit them in the hands and bounce off, they need to catch them no matter what, like Clayton used to. THATS a playmaker!

They have the talent. They just need to make the plays.

I'm not a Mcshay fan but I've been to all the home games and I'm actually surprised that our 5 star wr's aren't getting more open. I wish JJ would just throw it anyway and let them make a play on the ball but I think the wr's are underachieving a little too. Example two post patterns at McNeese game. Both were well covered, which is a shock considering it's McNeese and that we had been doing nothing but throwing short passes and running the ball. The bad passing game is being heaped on our QB's but the wr's (drops) and o-line all need to do a better job.

Auburn is the flavor of the week for ESPN. First it was Bama, then Overrated State University (Ohio St), now Cam Newton Computer College. I hope we remain under these blowhard's radars all season.

IfJ Lee plays, we have playmakers, if JJ plays, they are blockers.

or maybe if they didnt only run a freaking WR screen with him he could make plays
You do realize that is the best way to get him the ball in space in the passing game and keep him from taking a big hit over the middle my a LB or Safety. Oh, and it seemed to work fine on his 50+ yard screen run last week that was called back for an O-lineman being down field. FYI, upon further review, the ball was caught behind the line of scrimmage and O-lineman can block down-field on that play.

Shep isn't what slot of people expected. He is very talented but he has poor hands and to be honest PP has better moves with the ball in his hands.

Doesn't mean he can't do great things though

3 Five Stars at WR and a 4 Star Hybrid TE/WR. What a maroon...Our issue is JJ playing and will continue to relate to QB as long as Less continues to give him snaps. We are 5 deep at each skill position.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mcshay in Mobile back in 05. He's really not that bad of a guy. The scout that bashed him, just wishes he had his job. Scouting is not perfect. I was an assistant to a scouting director in the early and late 90's. I know how hard it can be. So to bash Mcshay is pure jealousy.

As for LSU not having playmakers at the WR spot isnt accurate. Randle and Toliver both show run after the catch skills and I would even argue that Randle, can be a PR in the NFL. As for Shepard, well, im not really sold on him either. I give him benefit of playing a new position.

But Toliver may be the 5th or 6th best receiver in the SEC. Last i checked isnt that bad.

BilJ that story on McShay is incredible. How does ESPN still put him on the air after that? It just shows how superficial ESPN has become. They are not the sports experts they say they are.

This is the same guy that had Jevan Snead as one of the top quarterbacks in the draft so I don't really give his opinion much thought.
