He's buddy buddy with one of my buddies at work. They played football together in high school at Central.

Went to Central with him too. He was actually a pretty good guy. It's a shame he plays for the Falcons though.

There's a good chance that he is very near the record for most NFL games ever started by a former LSU Tiger. I don't know if anyone on here has ever looked it up or not, but those 195 career starts have got to be close to whatever Mawae was able to put up.

EDIT: Not quite as close as I thought. Mawae played in 241 NFL games ( LINK), and started 238.
