Today we are gator fans

Could setup for an epic day on campus in a few weeks of potentially two top 5-6 teams. Since the majority of this board thinks we go 11-1 with presumably a loss to bama, strength of schedule/quality wins becomes a HUGE factor for making the playoff. I hate Florida as much as the next guy but it's short sighted to not root for them today. We need as many quality wins that we can muster if we aren't gonna go undefeated.

I get we all hate Florida, I just haven't heard a logical reason to root against having a stronger strength of schedule. All you baws getting caught up in the rivarly and not seeing the big picture. Would y'all like for all of our opponents to be terrible? That would make us UCF... Where does that get you? Nowhere

You don’t pull for our permanent east rival to beat one of their primary recruiting competitors. That’s dumb.

Screw that. If we go 11-1 or 12-0 it won’t matter if Florida wins the East or if they go 7-5.
If we are their only loss(es) though, they’ll recruit well. If they look like a tanking program, then they will recruit worse. We have enough of a challenge recruiting the Florida high schools with Bama and Georgia. Let’s not hope for a strong Florida too. I hope they lose to Miami and then implode.
