There's speculation about what LSU must do to secure a national seed.
I'm more concerned, at the moment, with hosting a regional as the number one.
We don't have a lot of loses to concede going forward. We have to beat Tulane, for sure, but we also have to take Lamar, McNeese and Northwestern to the woodshed as well.

Maybe but I'm not confident I want to give an NCAA selection committee reason to send us elsewhere. Especially at a time when they're looking to involve northern and northeast states in regionals.

Often it comes down to a numbers game. There may be as many as nine SEC schools hoping to play their way into hosting a regional. Georgia helped themselves out last night by beating Clemson.

I don’t LOVE to hate the green slime as much as I used to. I still hate y’all, but it’s just not as much fun as it used to be. Would it be possible for you guys to put LOUISIANA across the front of you’re uniforms? It would help!

At least Tulane is the rightful owner to the name Louisiana. ULL is not.
