AlaBambie Nation: In the first game, LSU outgained you 148-96 in rushing yards. I point this out in response to the incessant amongst you that keep saying that Alabummer outgained LSU in total yards. You aren't the only team that outgained LSU this year when adding in the passing yards. There's an old addage that says that a rushing yard is worth two/three passing yards... just look at your own team... Bama would rather have a 100+ rushing game from Richardson than 250+ passing yards, given the choice.

Insofar as the field goal discussion goes, you should have punted the ball to bury LSU deep, and then rely on your defense to keep LSU pinned down. I believe the reason that y'all attempted the long field goals is because you were having real trouble getting the ball in closer: Alabama had the ball inside the red zone only ONCE the entire game, and that was for ONE PLAY, as you lost yardage the next play. In contrast, LSU had the ball in the red zone three times, inside the ten, but played conservatively. If Bama were ahead by a touchdown, LSU would have not been so conservative in the red zone. In other words, all the woulda-coulda-shoulda scenarios don't assume that the game flow would have changed as well.

Insofar as the Eric Reid interception goes, the play was reviewed by the officials AND THE ENTIRE NATION, and it was clearly a pick. Deal with it. Your coach was getting anxious, he tried a trick play with Maze throwing the ball, and Reid made a smart and athletic play on the ball.

* I am taking the time to point all this out to you Bama fans, in hopes that maybe some of you "get" why not only did you lose the game, but LSU BEAT YOU. NO, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE WON THE GAME "BUT FOR" WHATEVER. Give the Tigers credit they deserve, then pull for your beloved Tide to play better next month in the BCS game... but QUIT TRYING TO TAKE AWAY LSU's WIN.*

Game was dead even, bama shite the bed in OT. LSU wins, becomes SEC champs. Bama catches every lucky break in the book, 5 teams (OSU, Boise, OU, Stanford, Oregon) lose games to inferior teams, and Bama backs in to BCSCG.

Who appears to be the team of destiny now? Sleep well LSU, a very pissed off team is coming to NOLA to take your manhood and the crystal football. Only 26 days left in undefeated season.

The one who controlled their own destiny since week 1.

Yep yep, just like I predicted. You Alabambie fans are such tools. You cannot for the life of you actually admit that not only did Bama lose, but LSU BEAT YOU.

Here, jddawg58 thinks that LSU had nothing to do with "bama shite the bed in OT." Typical. You effing gump homers, you don't have the mental capacity to actually break the game down to see how LSU BEAT YOU... You fans just better hope that the Bama coaches aren't nearly so stupid as to think that you shoulda woulda won that game. Otherwise, you are going to see history repeat itself.

Oh, and screw you, Bama Nation, for being so very stupid.

LSU 9, ALABAMA 6. Must be a real bummer to read that for you. It's going to be a suicidal bummer for you to have to actually deal with TWO LSU beatdowns in the same season.

Umm.. going out on a limb here, but wouldn't the team of destiny be the one that comes back after being down in home and away games?
Against divisional, conference and non-conference opponents?
You know the same team that emasculated Bama AT Bama?
The team that throttled Bama's rushing in spite of having a heisman worthy candidate in the backfield?
The purple and gold team that passes Go at the New Orleans Superdome and collects the crystal whilst the other red/crimson/cream/grey/white team fans cry?

I think you have it backward. LSU has every edge in this "rematch." I have never felt more confident about a win.

Bama's "pissed off?" Didn't we hear that all during the off season? They were gonna get revenge for yet another LSU win from last year that Bama "should have won?"

The masters of excuses. LSU won't be as kind toward the Tide as they were in the last game. If Bama couldn't win at home in perhaps the biggest game in Bryant-Denny history, I don't believe they're gonna fare too well in the Tigers' home.

Bama should be pissed. LSU has kicked their arse 9 times in the last 12 meetings. Let us know when Bama is so pissed they actually beat LSU on the scoreboard. It hasn't happened since 2009.

Nicky better win soon cause that seat might start getting warm.

Nah, haven't you heard? He's going to Penn St!!!!

This is going to be the absolute PERFECT ending to the PERFECT season. Not only will LSU go down in the books as one of, if not The BEST, team in CFB history, but we will get to beat our arch rivals TWICE in a season.

Little Nicky doesn't have a Napoleon complex. Napoleon had a Nicky complex. I can't wait to watch his head explode on the sideline.

This isn't high school. The kicks were well within what a college kicker should be attempting. Alabama should have attempted all of those field goals. The ones missed in regulation were 44, 50, and 49 yards.

Nah.

49 and 50 were dumb. Pin us deep. We weren't going to move the ball, most likely.
