Hate comes from being in the spotlight. LSU hasn’t done themselves any favors. You had a quirky Les Miles, then hire Ed Orgeron, now Lane Kiffin. Over the years we’ve won championships, we’ve had players die, fake tigers, politics involved, sexual harassment claims, money laundering, racial issues, lawsuits, and the list goes on.
What exactly did you think was going to happen?
We give the media ammo.
Erase all of that. Be an Arkansas or South Carolina. Do you think they still would hate us?
As long as our Brand is big, we’ll be in the crosshairs. Embrace the hate. But stop with the everybody hates us for no reason shite. That’s childish.

Lane sort of asks for it dating to pre-LSU. He is kind of bringing that on himself again. He just happens to be YOUR coach now.
He doesn't have to utilize the NFL rejects. Everyone knows that this hasn't been done in the past.
And, yes, my opinion will be the same for any coach doing this. I don't need a lesson on the 2022 class. I know the timeline.

That's silliness. The media is looking for stories. It's a story. They are going to pick a side and run with it as long as it sells and results in eyeballs on the screen. They don't give a shite one way or the other about LSU or any other team.
