What if there was a way to transfer tickets to people wanting to come in for the rest of the game? More money for LSU if the new people buy even one concession item.

Putting the bong down now

Oh and great idea. But it won’t work.

Well shite. If this is the stoner thread…

Let’s just ban all TV’s in peoples houses. That will make them want to come to the games and stay until the end.

To the people obsessed with how and where other people spend their free time.

You worry about your time and the rest of us will worry about ours.

Have to remove the primary drivers for people wanting to leave.

Terrible traffic.
Shitty games.
Better food, drinks, and lines.
Better experience at home.

Then, people would stay longer.
Either because getting/staying home isn't as good/fun.
Or, there aren't any negatives about going and staying.

Real fans stay to the Alma mater.
Corporate fans leave super early.
They have priced in more Corporate fans.

Lock the gates and bring in attack dogs to prevent people from leaving.

Build a moat around the stadium and raise the bridges at halftime.

I think there’s lots of things we CAN do but I don’t think there is much that will work outside of putting together juggernaut teams and winning.

Also.. it’s cultural. 20 years ago it was dads bringing their sons to games and screaming their heads off. Now it’s business tickets and old people sitting around not making noise. The demographics are changing.

I don't think they really watch the gates after halftime anyway. Just walk in.

It’s not an LSU thing, UF and Kentucky, they panned to the upper deck in the 4th qtr, tons of empty seats.

Nothing will be solved until they add more parking and roads.

I know back in the late 70s my father was on an insurance call near Tiger Stadium. He said when he was off work, he drove up and walked in right through the gates at halftime. He got there just in time to watch Lindsey Scott run back the second half kickoff for a TD to propel Georgia over our Tigers that night. I was at home listening to Ferguson on the radio.

You could do it then, but we lived in a slightly simpler time then we do now.

It is not really fair to them, but the best way to solve this is for the team to win its first game of the season. For 3 straight years now we have started with a loss. Die hard fan has lost its original meaning across all sporting events. Its a shame, but most of us have have so many other distractions it easy to find a reason not to stay. An early loss creates that distraction.

Look at 2019. At the Auburn game, no one left early. The simple reason was the excitement of the game and pending season overrode their desire to find something else to do. If we had lost to Texas earlier in the season, thousands wouldve found that distraction to cause them to lose enough interest to leave early.

It’s 100% due to corporate. The average fan damn near can’t afford a game.

People who were given corporate free tickets show up for the experience, sober up at half time, then bounce

The way to solve people leaving early is to make traffic worse.

Go to a 9 team SEC schedule and play 3 big power 5 schools as non conference.

Actually, they use to do that. There were TV "blackouts" in and around the city where games took place.
