LSU vs Michigan is "sexier" than LSU vs Iowa

bullshite, we are a national brand.

Just because a couple Iowa fans on a message board don't want to play us does not mean we are not a national brand.

The only reason Iowa should be feeling butt hurt is they are playing a really good team with a new QB.

If LSU spanks their arse they did it with a new QB.
If IOWA sneaks in a win well they beat a team playing a new QB.

Really no upside for them or anyone playing us really.

Did Iowa "sneak in the win" in 2005?
I know all about the circumstances but we got beat. Period .

my point is that this place acts like we are too good to play iowa. it is rather pathetic.

Everyone probably thought the same about Penn State and Clemson before we played them, didn't they?...

Without Manziel, A&M isn't as big of a deal either.

This is the only real "complaint" I hear from the fan base. I still think Iowa will be fired up to play.

Agreed. Losing to terrible ole miss & having arky take you down to the wire means you don't get a sexy bowl game. I sure as hell hope the team is more fired-up about this opponent than we are, or else we could be looking at a far more embarrassing version of what happened last year.
No worries. I'm sure Les and the staff will have them ready, prepped and fully motivated for the game just like they did against Bama in the NC and against Clemson last year in the Chicken.

Hmm. Start naming the programs that are more highly thought of than LSU.....it will be a short list.

or penn State, or ole miss this year, or Furman, etc, etc.

I'm expecting a loss tbh.

LSU fans see it as a perpetual top 20 team having to play against a team that hasn't seen a top 25 ranking since 2010. It is a lose/lose situation for LSU.

Iowa has gone 1-7 against top 25 teams the past 2 seasons and get rewarded with playing against another top 25 team in a bowl game.

They Win -- LSU beat an unranked big 10 team
They Lose -- LSU lost to an unranked big 10 team

Look, I don't think that, I just think Iowa is boring football. Iowa could be 12-0 and I'd be bored just like I am with UCF, Louisville, NIU, BYU, and plenty others.

Both were far more interesting than Iowa. Some people may do like the guy said but I for one, want an opponent, who has something interesting about them.

I'm pumped for one reason only, Anthony Jennings.

Don't really care who we play just want to see a glimpse of next years potential.

Same boat as UGA they hate their bowl game but are watching their new QB as well.
