No dumbass you said our fanbase making comments about winning with Saban's players was making us look stupid. How does it make us look stupid if the national media is saying the same damn thing.
Okay, let me try this again.
IF any media said it, they're stupid.
Posters posting it on this board are stupid ...
Hell, I know YOU'RE stupid because you write and punctuate like an illiterate.
Bottom line: it's stupid because it is not true.
Or do you honestly believe that Flynn, Dorsey, etc., after being coached for THREE SEASONS by Les Miles ... were "Saban's Players"?
Now answer the question directly.

Fail fail fail. Are you working for Alleva?

Tim Landry has a kid in the Tulane band and he begs for nudie pics on the OT. He knows everything.

Hey full retard, what does Saban have to do with Les Miles being a complete idiot?
Posted on 10/3/10 at 6:18 pm to Maximus
You obviously know who I am.
I don't give a shite, and I've never posted anything on here I'm ashamed of.
So ... how about posting YOUR name to even things out?
But if you're the ball-less jack-off I think you are, I doubt that will ever happen.

No one wanted him. Despite any success he has he will always be considered an idiot. He has made a few mistakes and I question his thought process sometimes. But he is our coach and I believe wants the best for LSU and the players. I like him for his integrity

lots of brilliance being tossed around in here

I think Saban recruited them and did a good job of evaluating talent (if you remember he took a ton of heat for signing a very poorly rated Jacob Hester).
Then those players spent time under Les and some very solid coordinators. While some didn't think Jimbo was a good play caller(can't really argue with that) he was a solid QB coach. Also, I don't think anyone can deny that Pelini was a very good D-coordinator.
Clearly, Miles and staff was responsible for the maturation of that group, but Miles is also responsible for the lack of maturation with the existing group. Be it different staff or poor evaluations during the recruiting process (which is hard to believe because I don't think you can "miss" on that many recruits) Miles is responsible for that group not progressing.

I almost gave mine away too and went with JimJohnso92. Its tricky not making your name your screen name.

Ummmm...honestly, I have some issues with this thread.
1. Why in the world would leslie be concerned about "busting jj's confidence?" If I'm jj, why would I have any confidence in my quarterbacking ability? I can look at my films, my stats and figure out that I pretty much suck. I would go to miles and say,"perhaps I can help the team by playing another position, obviously quarterback is NOT my strong point"
2. While Miles is pretty much an idiot on game day, I do see his value to our program. He's a hell of a recruiter. And like another poster said, he's a likeable, good guy. Those qualities, however, do not translate into being an effective gameday coach.
If I'm alleva, I find someone IMMEDIATELY to replace crowton. That individual also is on the sidelines, managing the game. This may sound dumb, but rather than buying les out, allow him to stay on as a kind of "director of player personel". However he wouldn't have much say in the actual mangement of a game. If he can get the horses, let him. Just find another individual to drive the stagecoach. Expensive? Sure, but its not the outlandish buyout that his contract stipulates, and perhaps saves face for all parties involved.

This is the most dishonestly blatant revision of history in the entire history of CFB.
If Byrd had not made the catch we would have had 5 seconds with a dead ball AND a timeout to line up for the field goal.
This was one of the BEST calls of Les' career and for you agenda driving LIARS to keep trying to twist it is pathetic.
Call him on the OMD and ultimately last night is his responsibility but this is BS at it's finest!

There was ONE SECOND left on the clock when that play was over.
Byrd bobbles the ball, it's over.
Flynn scrambles and gets sacked, it's over.
Miles already has said he didn't realize how little time was left. He wouldn't have been able to look at the clock, realize there was one second left, and call for the time out.
The play was spectacular and I'm glad he called it. But had Miles known how much time was left and if he still wanted to call for another play on 3rd down, he would have called a time out, ran that play with 20 or so seconds on the clock, and had the FG team ready in case it was incomplete. He had no control over the situation and got really fricking lucky.
EDIT: And here's a gem from the quotes in that article:
quote:
"They showed great character and great resolve and want -- the way they played in the second half," Miles said.
want... haha.

I suppose you didn't get my point.
Let's see: you post "Tim Landry has a kid in the Tulane band."
Gasp! How dare you reveal that since I have it in my signature? I'm sure nobody would have known otherwise.
But yeah, I guess I should be ashamed of that--having a kid on full scholarship at one of the best academic schools in the nation.
Oh wow. Another expose. Maximus "reveals" that I "begged for nudie pictures."
Well, you're wrong on one count. I didn't "beg." I remarked on pictures that were sent to me from the source without my having to "beg."
So I rather enjoy looking at pictures of good-looking women, just like most red-blooded American males.
Says more about you, thinking you've revealed some "gem."
Now bottom-line Genius, you can just about come to my front door by the information I have in my profile and signature.
I don't give a shite, okay?
That's the way I want it, because I don't hide behind some anonymous name to post here.
Meanwhile, you think I "accidentally" revealed this information.
Oh, horrors!
I'm just saying, since you're such an internet warrior, then go ahead and have the balls and post who YOU are here, and lets compare it with the shite you post on the OT.
Deal?

So now you fricking idiots are back with the "Les won with Saban's players in 2007."
We are not blind to the obvious, the media is not blind to the obvious, it's just you. Take a poll, do some research, contact other fans other than LSU fans, and ask them about this. Les has proved it.
