three failed drug screens do you think a little drug rehab may be in order.

Stress management in today's complex society ... I prefer George Dickel.

Teams will still find it very difficult to score on this LSU team. TM7 and his highlights were often due to playing opposite Morris Claiborne... doubt this year would have been as fruitful for him without MC.
Bottom line is that we need to have an offense and an offensive gameplan to score points consistently.
Defense wasn't the problem and it still isn't the problem. We need to score 28 points/game with an effective offense. If we do that, then we will win the National Championship.

This hurts us defensively big time. Look at the depth chart & just the numbers alone are scarey. Then add to that that none have any playing experience whatsoever. Then add to that the injuries happen all the time & we could really be in trouble.Look at the lost time in the secondary last yr alone. With the 2 who quit, we are now down 3 DB's at a position that was hurting for experience as it was. It's not the end of the world, but to say we'll be fine as if this is no big deal is not realistic once you look at the depth chart.

"A pattern many here are refusing to see". What pattern...arrests? Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't only 2 players arrested in the Shady's mess, and one had charges reduced & the other's dropped? Who else has been arrested in the past 4-5 yrs? As to simple suspensions, again, how many in the past 4 yrs? As compared to 32 arrests at Fla during UM's last yr, 13 or so at Ga. under Richt.

Does anyone know when he started with drugs? Was it something he just started at LSU or was he into it in high school?

correct, the team will be very good and maybe be a wake up call that one one is above the school regulations. a little discipline goes a long way. they will move on and this kid may or may not wake up to the reality that he has problems and sooner or later he will have to grow up and face them.

it doesn't really matter when he started on drugs it' like saying was it the first bullet or the fifth that killed the man. heck he is still dead. the real question is will he get help and move forward and grow up

Drug rehab is only going to work if HE wants it to work.

Without question he is one of the biggest game-changers that we have had on defense. That said, I've always been worried about when his ego would catch up with his ability and he would begin to stall in terms of his development and play-making ability.
Still, we are better WITH him than without him. Best of luck to him.

It's eally not about a little ganja - it's about an individual that doesn't get it - he continually puts self in front of team. No place for that in TigerTown

This is a huge myth. Perriloux's dismissal didn't wreck the team for years. Miles not having any other quarterback to step in is what wrecked the offense.
Hatch, JJ and lee weren't exactly scrub recruits... They just had the misfortune of having Cary crowton try to develop them... I don't blame miles one bit for "not having a legit backup". He had quality guys but the OC sucked at developing them.
