At the end of the day, the gene from his family proves to be too strong for him to handle. Kid is just like his dad in jail, got the raw talent to rock the entire world if he could manage to get his mind straight, but ended up getting wasted and dumped for having a big head. That being said, I really feel bad for him as he can't choose with what environment he want to grow up.
Also,
to Les for having the ball to do the right thing with the NC on the line.

Why are some of in this thread giving Miles pats on the back for doing the right thing? Miles is not the one that did this. He did not make any decisions regard TM's ability to ever play football at LSU all he did was report it in the press conf.

when did he fail his second drug test??

My .02...
When I think of all the psychic and emotional energy spent on TM7 collectively by his coaches, staff, and teammates, I can't help but wonder if this will turn out to be a relief for them going into the season.
It seems to me they spent a lot of time and effort (1) wondering what he was going to do next, (2) trying to keep him in line and eligible, and (3) reacting to and cleaning up after him.
There's no question they will miss him on the field, but I don't think they'll miss him off the field and in the locker room. And IMO that just might make up for not having his talents on the team this year.

There's plenty of coaches that have done as much as they can to sweep failed drug tests under the table.
I'm not calling Miles a hero for doing the right thing, but in the end Miles and LSU administration did what needed to be done.

I think kicking off the team is going too far. The classic thing is to suspend him blah, blah and then reinstate him in time for the season to start after he's done community service at the homeless shelter and so on.
But my guess is with grades. The end of the summer session is near.

I still think he had to be caught taking money or a car or something. That's the only thing that could warrant a suspension out of the blue like this.

Anyone remember the DB that was dubbed by Patrick Peterson as the most athletic player on the team.

Nothing wrong with 2 Beavers hanging out in a dam just trying to have a good time.

Not to be starting stupid rumors, but didn't someone post about him pulling a gun on a friend, or was that a troll? And why were there police at the PC?
ETA: Just saw on the ESPN article that Les said it wasn't a legal issue, so I guess not.
