Alabama will not offer him a spot and I have doubts that he’d start at Auburn.

Correct. And he will be learning behind Nix at Auburn...

Who knows what [Bama] will end up with as apparently they have the unique ability to work the NCAA to allow them 40 recruits a year when there is a 25 limit.

That's an unfortunate statement. Finley started several games last year, eventually became ineffective and was beaten out by Johnson who was more effective. Unless there is more to the story there is no reason for him to be looking for revenge.

It’s human nature for him to circle the LSU game. If we played osu in the playoffs you think Burrow would not have a little extra juice?

I would want revenge, but I would keep my mouth shut about it and just play.

Revenge about what? Getting to start five games as the No. 1 backup behind a fourth year guy? Or having to compete in an open competition for the 2021 starting gig because, despite really flashing in some 2020 games, he didn’t do anything to solidify his grip on the starting job?

It’s all about the reSpeK now. Doesn’t matter you lost out in a competitive nature. In this day and age you need to have a chip to make it mean something. I CANT GET MY WAY SO I’M LEAVING

Make no mistake, it's not revenge he's after. It's a reckoning.

Sure, but did Burrow come out throwing shade at OSU when he decided to transfer? Facing OSU was not a factor in his transfer.

Burrow also thanked Ohio St numerous times. I don't know.

I just find it disappointing if Finley really came out and said facing LSU is a huge factor. That's a bit much. His main factor should be playing time if he transferring. He shouldn't be concerned about sticking it to LSU right now.

I don't think TJ really threw shade he just did an interview and people are running with one little comment.

He’s an immature kid who has been pumped up constantly by those around him. He’s an example of someone who wasn’t “de-recruited” successfully. Same thing with Arik Gilbert.

ETA: I don’t mean this as a permanent judgment of them. They’re still young and both have massive potential.
