I honestly believe he will contribute more than expected and be a surprise player. He looks good running the ball.

Love watching the guy getting his playing time in and making the most of it when he step on the grid iron.

I'm glad he's on the team, also as a running back you never know what can happen at the next level. Often the lesser used RB's go on to have good NFL careers because of the less mileage.

Thanks Lanard! A true Tiger! Looking forward to seeing you play this fall. Teach these youngsters how to be a college player

Make no mistake about it, Lanard is a good football player. He’s proven he belongs. He didn’t get many touches but when he did he was tough to bring down, showed enough speed and good hands. He will contribute in the passing game and on ST’s. Experience like Lanard will be crucial on ST’s especially if this LSU team wants to make a run.

It seems to me that he would be a great candidate for number 18 this year.

I think the kid deserves a tip of the LSU hat, it cant be easy being the little brother. He has handled himself well. Respect.
As a 5th year Senior he'll have the respect of his team. Big time.

Agree. And I believe if he gets the chance, he will move up the chart.

I remember when he committed people were upset because they thought it was a throw away offer. I initially thought the same but if you took a look at his jr year highlights he looked like a guy that could def compete at a high level.

It’s posts like this that make me come back to the rant.

Very refreshing take and thanks for the very thoughtful calling of a unheralded Tiger.

I was actually astonished at his vision and explosion when he finally got some real touches. He's got alot of the same football genes as his brother. And he's a class act for sure!

Who the hell would downvote this? I didn't know Kelvin Joseph was a member of tRant.
