I didn’t realize these were OM announcers just now.. I was drinking a good bit but they did seem to be a bit negative towards LSU. Now it makes sense. One of them sounded like Ben Shapiro

They were really young, perhaps inexperienced. I thought they did okay. Way better than the South Carolina guys.

How do people not realize this when they complain about the announcers. The home team provides the SEC Network+ announcers almost every time as a cost cutting measure for ESPN. Ronnie Rantz does a bunch of the LSU home games and the visiting team fans have to listen to him too.

I would say they definitely were unbiased.
They even constantly called out the Ole Miss score keeper for taking away LSU hits.

I wish there was a way to choose between the two school’s radio broadcast of the game. I know sometimes they use the home teams radio broadcast but it would be cool if when you chose what to watch the two options popped up.
Plus it would save ESPN money because they wouldn’t need to pay any broadcasters for streaming only games

I did think it was funny how after the 3 run Furniss shot they spent 5 minutes talking about "but skenes said there wouldn't be any beer!! LOL"

Yeah, Skenes almost got egg on his face for making that comment and giving up a three run homer, but that was really premature of the announcers to break out the quote as a "gotcha" with a 1 run lead in the 4th inning. Didn't work out so well for them. Maybe everyone on both sides can learn a lesson in humility.

This the truth! I thought the Ole Miss announcers did a pretty good job in comparison to some others I've heard. Those Carolina clowns were a joke.
