. I don't agree with somethings that you said(how your total yards are more, even though the last drive of the game is where that happened)

Just remember, if your team is ever getting walloped by three touchdowns, be sure and call your timeouts to try and get that window dressing score so you can crow about meaningless yards and points. Then kick an onside kick with 19 seconds left. Frankly those things weren't impressive to me but embarrassing and indicative of poor sportsmanship. I wish we would have taken four shots at the endzone after recovering the onside kick, but Miles has class.

One thing I like about Miles is that once the game is decided that he doesn't run the score up on people, and that he lets second and third string players get some time. They go to practice and they should be rewarded even if it's just for a few minutes.

think LSU took the D gameplan from OSU/Auburn, add that to the fact that Oregon just isn't as good this year on either side of the ball IMO and LSU had 7 months, not just 1 like in bowl games, and you have the recipe for a beatdown.

Funny because before the game wern't 7 out of 8 ESPN analyst picking an Oregon Win? It's funny how before the game everybody was all about Oregon until they got beaten down, now they are "way worse than last year" and this was "to be expected" except it wasn't expected, the entire country except 3 states in the south felt like Oregon was going to win.

Funny how the story changes so much after the exact opposite happens. Now Oregon was just overrated and let's have everybody tell us all the reasons why they are overrated when before the game everybody wanted to tell LSU fans why we didn't have a chance. Hilarious.

Exactly. We've seen this for the last few years under Miles when LSU has mopped the floor with such over matched opponents like Ohio St, Texas A&M, and now Oregon.

It's nice when our 2nd and 3rd string younger players can come into the game in mop up time and gain some much valued playing time and experience.

It's just too bad the Tigers usually have to wait until it plays out of conference opponents to experience this, as our SEC games are usually fought tooth and nail.

Man, I wish we had the luxury of playing teams like the Buckeyes and Ducks every week--then our freshmen could get in all the time.

Amazing that the OP claims he is here to eat crow and not make excuses, but every paragraph that follows makes excuses: our best players were hurt, we fumbled, we had more yards, etc.

LSU won- plain and simple! Both squads had key players out. Both had turmoil. LSU was the better team- hands down.

Yes Oregon may play better later in the year. LSU might also play better. But in the game that mattered, LSU dominated. Eat crow without all the other trimmings (excuses and explanations are not required).

Respect for coming back to the rant. I do take exception to the "we out gained you" argument. Oregon out gained LSU by more than 100yrds in the 4th quarter when we were up by 20. Plus, our great D and special teams gave us a field position edge of more than 20yrds resulting in shorter scoring drives. Not all yardage is created equal.

It's not a "team" that's having a run, it's a legitimate dominant PROGRAM.

HUH

Haven't they lost every single big game they have been in? They play in the Pac 10, then lose to better competition outside of it....dominant? uh...ok.

What will be even more funny is when they start pounding people...and then the media (and oregon fans) will be saying this is a different oregon team and they deserve a rematch, and THIS TIME they could likely beat the SEC....lol...just wait...it's coming.

Even though we had many more yards vs you, it is the scoreboard one goes by to decide a winner and you thumped us. I will however note that we turned the ball over 4 times and 3 of those times we fumbled the ball near the end zone, making it easy to get those points against us. Now, that does not necessarily mean we lost the game ourselves and you would of not beaten us if we did not gift wrap those 20 points because in honestly, good teams train hard for stripping the ball and such.

I didnt read after this cus if these thoughts cross ur mind you are a homer. I could sit here all day and say lsu saved yall from complete embarrassment. Numerous drops, the fumble alone made our rushing yds drop, missed extra point, shitty 1st punt from a new kicker. Playing prevent once we had the game in hand, which we are known for doing.

You just better hope barner and james show up to play the rest of the season or yall wont be going to the rose bowl.

One point of contention. It was on that very play where Mingo chased LaMichael James down that he supposedly got injured. Mingo had started running in the opposite direction, turned up field and caught LaMichael James from behind, LaMichael didn't have to go in two directions to get up to speed and was still caught by someone who did.

Seems like you were trying to validate why you lost instead of admitting defeat.

Hmmm - didn't LSU fumble(bad snap) as well and Oregon only scored 3 points if I remember correctly? Maybe our defense should have allowed 7 points to make this turnover worthwhile for the ducks.

So from what I glanced at, you repeatedly say we earned the win while in the next breath you make excuses for why you lost. Can't have it both ways bro. Either give credit or just excuse it like every other Duck fan.

Every team has injuries (and suspensions). Go back and watch a fourth time. We FORCED every turnover we got. We beat that arse plain and simple.
