either 4pm or 7pm on CBS, contingent upon the outcome of the games this weekend ...

My best friend is a pilot and flys with Brando once a week and they typically talk about the upcoming game and he gets Brando's pick and what not. He called me a bit ago and told me that when they spoke today, Brando says CBS is trying to get the game for a 4pm kickoff ... and IF -- and only IF -- Bama and LSU both win this weekend, it is POSSIBLE that it will be a 7pm kickoff on CBS. Don't be surprised if LSU loses to Georgia for the Bama-LSU game to be on CBS at 2:30.

So take it for what it's worth, but CBS is trying to push the start time back at least according to Brando.

Less interest from CBS also means that LSU is not doing as well and CBS doesn't want us. I'm sure that is what you want dumbass.

a 2am kickoff would be sweet but to many people would be to drunk to show up for the game.

You realize the SEC/ESPN contract and the SEC/CBS contract aren't mutually exclusive, right?

I thought the SEC's contract with CBS only allowed for one prime time game per season?

yes kinda confused because it seems no one ever knows shite until games are actually announced. Makes it a pain in the arse scheduling sports for my kids and balancing going to the game. Again thanks poo poo for correcting my specifics on the matter.

Depends on how much money you dangle in front of those CBS suits.

The question that hasn't been asked yet, and is worth being asked is: Why in the hell would CBS want to push the game from a normal start time (2:30 PM) but instead... 4PM? What's so special about 4 freaking PM???

Nov. 8 is too soon for any Sat. NFL games, too late for potential World Series game conflicts.

That 4PM makes some sense if it's for an SEC on CBS doubleheader, that's possible, but that'd mean a primetime game b/w Fla and Vandy...OVER Bama/LSU? In other words, that'd mean a non-primetime slot for the #2 team versus what would be a top 10 LSU team.

Playing the game at 7 pm could be a possibility. Elite XC just shut it's doors this week so CBS is left without any Saturday Night Prime Time programing for that slot.

I could see it happening
