Some people think you can just turn a switch. Not a big believer in that. This team is who they are on the road. SHOULD be fine at home but who the hell k ows after that performance. I think it'll take a miracle to win a nattie with our bats in Omaha

Slumps don’t usually last over a 2 month span. This offense has been anemic at the plate away from the Box. Even in the South Carolina series, we struggled at times against what is probably one of the 2 worst pitching staffs in the conference. Jones has regressed back to swinging at trash trying to kill every pitch and Milam is a shell of his 2024 self at the plate.

LSU clearly plays better at home. It is a little strange to me how different the splits are between home and away offensively. The HR numbers are significantly different home vs away.
SEC Home Games: 32 HR (2.13 per game)
SEC Away Games: 14 HR (.93 per game) *7 came in USC series alone
Fortunately for LSU, they will get to play at home on the road to Omaha.

1.) There's no run rule on regional play
2.) Southeastern would have to get past one of the best bullpens right now in the country
