my guess is nothing is going on and this is just a rumor...there are fans that would love to see the team crumble, so the last couple of years this rumor has popped up. I'm sure a bunch of fans emailed all the TAF bigwigs after the game last night

In all seriousness - word is that he's on a short leash and TAF and Alleva aren't too comfy with him. After the UNC debacle where we should have lost - and we should have - it doesn't surprise me one bit to hear that the higher-ups are meeting or discussing the situation.

i think alleva is feeling the pressure too. i don't think miles stays if we lose more than 3 games. to be honesty, i'm not sure he should IF we were to lose 4 games.

And yes, we won, but we should have lost. To a team missing most of its starting D and three of its best offensive skill players. After benching our star defensive player for a good bit of the second half because our coaches were comfortable trying to sit on a 20-point lead.
The program has been steadily eroding since 2007, and in an embarrassing fashion. .500 in SEC over last two years, horrific offense in spite of five-star talent, swiss hole defense allowing teams to move around the field at will in spite of five-star talent, garbage QB play, the Ole Miss game, last night (which was similar to the Ole Miss game), etc. - it's not a championship caliber coaching job by any stretch, and pretty much anyone can see that things are not moving in the right direction.

Word I hear is Ricky Bustle is not happy with the "school to the west". Many TAF members prefer the zone read running attack which accumulated 1/2 yard per rush against Georgia to the current LSU offense.
