Time was aided by a 3.2 mps wind, but that is FLYING.

5th fastest wind aided time in collegiate history.

Lester...plug it in your wind aided track tool to see where that translates.

Also saw where in addition to anchoring a 1st place finish in the 4x100m relay for the Tigers, Laird won the 200m with with a wind legal time of 19.82 that broke Justin Gatlin's SEC meet record (19.86) from 2002.

This guy is looking like he may be the best ever in a long line of LSU male track sprinters.

9.82? Anyway, that’s a ton of wind. That 19.80 was a WOW for me as well as how he walked down Bolling on the last leg of the 4X1. Insane.

When he comes out of the turn, it is almost as if he is shot out. Runs the turn like Blake.

His form, as always, seems flawless.

Bolling at UGA is damned fast, but his form isn’t nearly as smooth. Laird is like athletic art...poetry in motion. Most impressive.

he’s a strong possibility to medal in Tokyo. He could make several relay teams and he’s run the fastest 200’s in the world this year.

Good lord he is impressive. He is so much smaller than some of the other guys, but it is clear that he has a gear that the bigger, long striders don't have.

Can our QBs get him the ball, in stride, on the deep ball?

Good Lord. You do not know anything about track posting this. .1 seconds in track is a significant amount of time compared to other sports. Secondly, that “White dude” Matthew Bolling is from Houston and is the only high schooler to run under 10.0 in the 100 M. He owns the US record.

He walked Bolling down in the 100 M relay that means Bolling was ahead and flat out caught and past him with room to spare.

You’re a dumbass or troll. Leave this discussion before you embarrass yourself more.

he should be picked for the relay at a minimum. He does have to make the team in whatever event. That is not a given. That’s why they line up.

I didn’t upvote my post moron. Secondly, you made a bigot comment and I do take those serious. Because you responded like you did to my last post, we all see your true colors. I’m not “woke” either. I’m just not a moron like you.

Boling’s sub-10 in high school was highly wind aided. Friday holds the HS record at 10.00. Boling’s wind legal HS best is 10.11 and puts him 4th on the all-time list.
