Tiger Band / Golden Girl uniform update?

I love LSU Tradition. I am an LSU graduate and bleed Purple and Gold. I know part of LSU's tradition is the Tiger band's and Golden Girl's uniforms. Maybe I'm alone in this, But I'm ready for an update. Nothing ridiculous, just alterations to reflect more current century. I just feel like their uniforms are permanent throw-backs to the 50's. Thoughts?

Last time we changed the uniforms for TB was '93, I believe. Prior to that, the uniforms had dickies...No, not the pants, that silly ruffled shirt looking thing.

I wouldn't mind if the GG's wore that red, white, and blue outfit from the WKU game on a regular occasion.

I say leave the band alone. The GG I am not big on their uniforms. But they do show alot of CT.

Yep.
They're getting to be as old as the people wearing them.
They look good, but you can only alter them so many times. A lot of the bibbers are getting holes from being hemmed so much, plus 18 years of wear-and-tear. The buttons fall off easily now too.

I don't think it would be a bad idea. I understand that LSU is all about tradition, in everything that we do, but I do feel like change occurs in everything, minor or major. I would HATE to go to school like Oregon because you can't ever go buy a game jersey and then wear it to all games like you can for LSU. I think the GG could spice it up a little more. Yes, we all know that their outfits are sexy and show a lot of snatch, but I do think that they are a little outdated. I'm not suggesting bikinis, but I think a change to a 2 piece would be sweet.
