I love that they're undefeated and hope it continues, and I love Mulkey, but the product is unwatchable. And this isn't a dig at the Lady Tigers - they're kicking butt, and that's fantastic.
But the athleticism and speed just isn't there, compared to the men's game. And I know that's probably unfair to compare, but it's natural. Sorry, but it's just hard to watch.
I gave it a try the other night against Tennessee. A legitimate try. I just couldn't get into it.

I mean, there's numerous baseball threads on Tigerdroppings and I never go on those threads to say, "I dunno man. I tried to watch but baseball is just too slow and boring". I don't even waste my time on those threads. These guys that DO, in terms of women's basketball threads, makes me think there's something they actually have against women athletes. Otherwise, the comments don't make any sense.

Boring huh? Guess you missed the game angel Reese hitting a half court shot off balance as time expired. Or Morris going coast to coast doing a reverse lay up. If they had a three point contest between the men's team and the women's team, men would get smoked.

Most everyone is a football fan and arm-chair QBs throughout. I don't have an issue with that.
I would never present myself as a true WBB fan. But I did watch some teams under Sue and for sure Pokey's 3x Final Four, etc. I'd call myself in terms I use for others as a "drive-by fan".
When am I telling anyone how to coach WBB? Or how useless it is?
Those people don't deserve the attention. MBB is a showcase for me.
