For a relatively nondescript player at LSU (really just one prominent season), Duke Riley did a good job of carving out a (to date) 8 year career

Ty. Good info. Law of averages… have a lot of players in the league NFLSU, a lot of players are going to get cut.

Teams now carry a whopping 16 players on the practice squad with four veterans so hopefully many of these guys will get to stay in the league.

Really hoping Josh Williams and Austin Deculus (traded to San Diego) thrive with their new teams!

Man I can’t believe Brayden swinson not only got drafted so late and now he’s been cut. As good as he was last year there’s no way he shouldn’t at least be on a team

Jordan Jefferson - cut by Jacksonville (8 career NFL games)

dude must be upper 30s by now. I didn't know he played in actual NFL games. Les knew what he was doing afterall.

The average number of NFL games for the players listed is 45. With a 17 game schedule, that means less than 3 full seasons.

Many of the cut players that are eligible for a practice roster will be put on one by either their current team or another team.

Minimum is $13,000 per week.

If you are on it for the entire 18 weeks, that is $234,000.

And that is the defensive lineman Jordan Jefferson that played in NFL games.

probably better than they could do anywhere else

In the meantime, if I were them, I'd probably be getting my resume up to date.

Bump for Thursday.

Garrett Dellinger has been signed to Cleveland Browns practice squad. Glad for him and everyone else on rosters and practice squads.

Current totals for Tigers based on LSUsports.net info and CBSsports transactions list:
