I was there too.

When the ball bounced I was yelling, "LET IT GO."

Eddie picks it up and I'm like, "FUUUUUUCK NOOOO!

Then I'm screaming, ""GO! GO ! GO!"

Then, "FUUUUCK YEAH!!"

Thanks for posting one of my memories T.S. memories. I was cold, tired, wet but very happy.

Just in case anybody asks, there is nothing and I do mean NO THING like Saturday night IN Tiger Stadium.

I was there for that one. He should not have returned it but it worked out great!

I'll say it again for the downvoters... TERRIBLE TACKLING! Dude for MSU just pushed him instead of tackling him.

In other words, a typical call by the worst play by play announcer in the HISTORY of sports.

I was confused as usual listening to ole jim on that play. I had the game on in va beach, va on the old short wave station that used to carry LSU football games. I was actually delivering a pizza when he ran that back.

I was sitting with my son on the East sideline near the top around 20 yard line. Great view of this play. “let it go”....”don’t field it”...”oh, no!”... but by the time he crossed the field to the 10 yard line...”he’s going all the way!”

It was offset when they first used it. I believe the thinking was that it was one of two of the tiger's eyes such that the true center at the 50 yardline would be the center of the tiger's face rather than an eye.

That's right about where I was sitting and you described my reaction to a T. Once he got out to the ten you knew he was gone.

Bringing back the block lettering has been debated on this board before, and it’s fun. I think the new font has taken on a legendary status of its own and I’m good keeping that, but the old lettering has its vintage charm.
I like the Geaux font.

It's just WAY TOO SMALL in the TS endzones.

Make a new stencil and have the "LSU" FILL UP THE ENDZONE.

Not rocket science and not hard to do.....

Keep the Geaux Font but surprise the fans with the Block Letters for a big game every now and then. Kind of like how they change up the unis from time to time.

It was an AWFUL decision to try to field that at the goal line. Worked out, but terrible decision.
