Les is going to do the bare minimum to win this game. Has been his MO for a few years now.

It doesn't matter what we do against JSU, when we play an SEC team he'll go right back to the same old shite. I guarantee it. I fully expect him to open it up tomorrow to get the fans happy and then BAM, same old Les when we play a good team.

Throwing 40-50 times is silly because it would mean that either our passing game is horrible on another dimension or that we're throwing while up 40 points.

This game should hopefully be an excuse to work on a more varied offense.

Alas, installing a new offense after the season starts is always a task order.

Nope. Les came back this year with zero change in philosophy.

That's what made Saturday suck. You just don't u turn on philosophy after game 1.

We have to be more efficient getting plays in and need to run about 25 more plays than last week.

I disagree.

As long as BH can go 19/21, we can win every game we play.

Not going to work on the short to intermediate passing game at all. Welcome to cam/les offense.

The majority of the passes against Wisconsin were short to intermediate. Just sayin'

Man, I agree. Maybe - I know this is a long shot - Harris will loosen up if he knows he is going throw early and often.

They should throw 30 times and never further than 18-20 yards.

Oh they will come out passing. Few bombs down field and we will score. Then shut it down.

I agree. At least get your QB more passes during the game, no need to go air-raid.

Give him time to get his shite together.

this should've occurred in many games over the past few years, but it never happens. So frustrating.

Guys had no clue who to block even when we ran the ball against Wisconsin. Will do nothing but hurt this team going forward if we only practice pass blocking.

This is correct. There is no point in practicing a particular aspect of the offense besides just getting as many snaps as possible. The Line needs as much practice as it can get. it's the immediate problem, much much more so than the passing game.

True...
But we need the team to work on passing, not just the QB. O-Line and receivers need to work on their parts just as much if not more.

I could say something like "if we throw every down we won't get 40-50 plays". but I won't.
