What's his backstory with this team again? I've had a hard time keeping up with it, or just completely forgot.

He had some solid moments for LSU. I do not know the story behind the transfer out. He should be a welcomed addition.

I love how any running back news sets off everyone's alarm bells about Emery, though.

Are you saying there's no reason to be concerned about Emery? Maybe consider his past here and the RBs they've brought in.

Not saying he won't be playing, but to act like there's no justification to worry, is a little silly.

Don’t know the scoop here, just remember I think it was Oklahoma that didn’t want to see him transfer, and that he was fast, but haven’t really seen that talent jump off the screen, so is this just a depth thing, or something more?

Any addition is welcome when you have the scholarships like we do. Heard on the pay sites even adding him we are only at 81 for the season still.

RB room is absolutely stacked with bodies now even if Emery doesnt make it back. Without Emery you still have to feel good about having Williams, Cain, Goodwin, Diggs, Bradford and the 2 freshman now.

Until we hear about his academics, I don't know. But every bit of RB news doesn't mean "Emery is done".

Yawn.

He’s very average on talent and has zero loyalty or buy-in.

At this point I really don't care if Emery comes back or not

He played in a couple of games late in the season in 2020 as a freshman. He made a critical catch out of the backfield in either the Ole Miss or UF game, I believe.

Then out of nowhere he transferred to OU that off-season, but then changed his mind and decided to come back after Spring Practice ended. There was also some drama between him and his family over the transfer. I remember some OU people were PISSED because they had 0 RB depth and he was virtually guaranteed playing time. There were lots of accusations of tampering from their side.

When Bradford came back, he was able to re-join the team, but he was ineligible and his case drug out for most of the 2021 season. Then he ended up getting cleared right before the last week and had a couple of carries when we upset A&M to get to .500.

The details of what happened with Bradford last year never went public. During that period where Kelly was cracking down and cleaning house, he made a statement that Bradford was “no longer associated with the University.” That was it. I couldn’t find where anyone reported anything solid on it. He likely either broke rules or had academic issues. It sounded pretty final at the time, but here we are.

Despite all of Bradford’s ups and downs, Kelly really hasn’t put a foot wrong when it comes to managing players and cleaning up the program culture. If he’s allowing Bradford back, then I’m betting he won’t be a problem.

Had a big TD reception against UF in that "trying to forget about it" 2020 season.
