Offense seemed sluggish all game. Struggled in red zone and seemed to go into a shell by just running the ball. Defense again didn’t seem to get pressure early. Thought they would have played better since auburn’s Rb was out. Seems like we had an off game. Not confident going into the bama game with this performance. Yes I am being a negative Nancy

Auburn's Defense is much better than Bama's

We didn’t play great and still beat a very good football team. We had chances to put them away and critical mistakes kept them in the game.

Delpit rundown might have been the difference.

Auburn has an elite defense. Elite defenses causes off games.

Don't understand the play calling on the goal line. Running a 190-lb. guy into the best defensive line in the country was never going to work. We have this fancy new passing offense so use it when it counts.

This would've been a game just about any other lsu team would've lossed. We should all be extremely happy they not only won, but also got 500 yards of offense seemingly asleep at the wheel.

When the defense was struggling we went all out and scored quickly. Now that the defense is playing so much better the offense is getting more conservative and I hope that is not what is happening.

We kept our offense on the field for so long that Auburn's defense was very tired by the 4th quarter. We just outplayed them.

Understood that he played but only in the wildcat but wasn’t playing a ton of snaps

We played a top 10 team with a great defense on a wet field that could only slow us down.

And we still put up over 500 yards.

Sure we left some points on the field but that’s gonna happen sometimes. We still found a way to win.

I’m usually as negative as anyone but yesterday was a good win.

A sloppy win was probably good medicine heading into Bama. Team knows they have things to fix.

I knew that when we were up and running draw plays up the middle on third and short we didn’t want to show too many tendencies on our play calling selections for you know who. They know the deal.

It was the soggy field conditions. LSU's receivers couldn't get separation cause they couldn't make their cuts. So the offense had to switch to a short passing game, but the receivers were still not getting separation and were also getting mugged by the Auburn defenders. Hence, the soggy field conditions forced the offensive staff off our game plan and also caused the play calling to become very conservative cause the receivers couldn't create separation.

Nonetheless, Auburn is trash, Auburn's offense is trash, Bo Nix is trash, Auburn's defense is trash, and Gus Malzahn is trash. Had LSU played them on a dry field, LSU would have blown them out.

And the soggy field conditions had nothing whatsoever to do with anything.

Meanwhile, teams don't roll up 508 yards of total offense on elite defenses.

Because of the soggy field conditions, the LSU receivers couldn't make their cuts to get separation yesterday. So LSU was forced to switch to a short passing game and even then the LSU receivers couldn't create separation and were getting mugged, and that caused the coaching staff to become very conservative in their lame play calling yesterday.
