My d2 teammate and night and day better. Routine ground balls and he’s falling down trying to knock it down instead of just playing through it and making the play..

We haven't been this bad at short stop in 35 years and thats a fact. Skip, Smoke and Paul never had someone at SS that had this difficult of a time.

Hate to say this about a kid, but man, he just can’t make a play. He cannot be relied on to make the routine play. Yes, he got to the slow roller to keep it in the infield, but what a God awful throw. He’s killing our pitchers. Killing them.

My son played D3 baseball and the SS for his team was way better than Thompson. This is ridiculous
