That Aranda defense has steadily gotten worse every season

Damn that really puts our offensive development into perspective. I remembered 2006 and 2007 as some very good offensive years for us in terms of points. 2007 was the highest number in that sample at 38.6 ppg...

And we have destroyed it this year.

Yep, and I never would've guessed it when he was hired.

But 47 pts a game on offense is some kind of ridiculous

Let's give credit where credit is due. Orgeron, Ensminger, Brady, Burrow and the rest of that offensive unit. A big 'thank you' to all of those guys for carrying the team and covering some other defects.

That number should raise after we kill Arky by 40+.

Interesting how one poster mentions O when giving credit for the Offense but another blames only Aranda for the D.

Especially when the HC is a defensive minded HC. I don’t blame O or Aranda for the defense this year though, the defensive line just isn’t good and that causes problems throughout.

I guess coach O better start recruiting better and more talent then. No DC can overcome personnel deficiencies.

Oh and BTW Aranda hasn’t gotten worse every season we just haven’t recruited any high end pass rushers since Miles left.

2016- 4.8 yards per play
2017- 5.1 yards per play
2018- 4.8 yards per play
2019- 5.4 yards per play
