When the losses start to mount then I suspect you'll join the crowd. There aren't many people here with common sense who think this team is in great shape.

No, I don't think the team has given up
but I do think that Les didn't even give this
team a chance on 1/09/2012. Every coach
knows maybe with the exception of Les
that if things are not working out then
adjustments have to be made. Seems it's
his way or the highway regardless of what
his staff believes.
I remember a game when Jerry Stovall beat
Bama in Tuscaloosa during the Bear era. A reporter
asked Bear why he kept changing QBs? His reply was and
I will clean it up, "I was trying to win the D..n game!"
Anyway, here hoping our team shows up in the swamp
and puts a beat down on the gators!

Yes, Les is our coach and any true LSU fan
needs to be supportive of our team but fans
have a right to express their feelings. That was
a big game they loss and fans are still feeling
the hurt.

I'm fine with Les. BUT I do feel like the offense is similar to the split DC roll in our defense prior to Chavis. The OL coach is upstairs playing OC and the line which was supposed to our strength is suffering.

I would like to keep what we have and hire a a great OC. Does that make me a negatiger?

The thing is, after Nick Saban had Lesticles on a platter on 1-9-2012, how in THe HELL do we have a team come out the next season looking nutless, uninspired, lethargic, etc.?

Did the team give up on Leslie? It sure looks like it.

You know, I hadn't thought of that. Maybe the players were impacted way more negatively toward CLM by the Championship debacle than anyone thought. It has become clearly evident though that another big coaching replacement is needed with an offensive coordinator. Talk of firing Les is nonsense, but he does need get out there and beat the bushes for a top notch guy or his seat will start warming up because this season is going to get ugly. Helen Keller could see the disaster that is coming this season.

LSUGrandDad, I can agree with you making good points as you do in all your posts. Here's the deal, at least for me and I would not consider myself a negatiger as I absolutely don not pull againtst the Tigers just go get rid of Miles. Man , I am actually depressed when we lose and Im now 51 years old. Not as bad as I used to in my youth and while attending LSU from 1979 till I graduated from our great university on August 5, 1983 but I still get down and out.

Again , back to my point, I think those that are anti-Miles, I suspect all goes back to the original scenario in losing Saban to Miami. I think and certainly IMO only that they feel that Bertman did not do enough to keep Saban here. Power Struggle between Bertman and Saban, call it what you want but talking to several people, I believe that is what happened. This comes from Jordy Hultberg's former wife who was as still is best of friends with Terri Saban. Jordy's former wife was our realtor on several house purchases and sells while we were in Louisiana. Anyway, according to her that was the deal. Thus, I think those that get on Miles case probably feel that saban should be here. Today, it is what it is, Saban is at Bama and we have Miles and it is not going to change. Do I get frustrated with Miles, Absolutely but he's our coach and Im certainly not going to pull against the Tigers just because he may not have been my"soup du JOur"as a coach.

Les doesn't want a big-time oc because he wants too much control over the office.

It's like saban, except not defense and not as good in his area of competence.

I hope all the people who are very positive are right. I will gladly eat crow. The visual product of this offense should cause anyone alarm since we haven't even played anyone.

Don't blame the players, the names have changed and the product is the same.

For the true Les haters, they will always bash Miles when given the slightest reason. For those of us who see flaws in this team and are a bit worried, a win at Florida will boost confidence in the team.

I guess those ESPNU boradcasters were nega Tigers also. Because they pretty much pointed out all the flaws that LSU has right now.

So that settles it. ESPNU broadcasters are Nega Tigers. They obviously think they can coach better than Miles and aren't "real" fans.

Old people are so grumpy. I sit within earshot of one old dude who bitches for literally the entire game. If we are killing them, he starts bitching that our starters are still in.
