that is also what I saw. KM needs to learn and teach more than one offensive set. Texas was all over it the entire game, especially 2nd half.

Kim didn’t turn the ball over 19 times, this loss was on the players not the coaching.

You currently have 34 upvotes for this pathetic thread. Texas played poorly the first half, but are very good. Much quicker than LSU.

These upvotes show just how unbelievably stupid our fanbase is. I used to think it was just all trolling...but, you people are serious and it is sickening how stupid you are.

Here's the thing....if Kim thinks that winning the SEC tourney will get us to a 1 seed does she go all out for it?

I'd say yes because we weren't nearly outclassed by Texas or South Carolina. If we can get to Greenville with just 2 loses and win the whole damn thing I think that should put us in a pretty good spot to get a 1 seed. Especially if we beat SC in their backyard.

ETA Is a 1 seed that much better than a 2 seed to expend all that energy winning the SEC tourney such a short time before the main event begins???

We have a few tough games coming up. Next Sunday at UK and then Feb 27 at Bama then March 2 versus OMiss in the PMAC. SEC Tourney is a ways off. And the seeding of the top 8-12 teams will be settled before the conference tournaments.

IF we can end the regular season at 29-2 (14-2 in SEC), we'll most likely be a #2 seed. There is no way we can get to a #1 seed.

Kim gives ZERO fricks about a number 1 seed. She has said so in the past. She says give me a top 4 so we can host, and roll from there.

And Kim gives close to zero fricks about the SEC Tournament. She has said that, also.

And given how last year's tournament went, I don't see her ever "going all out" to win it.

If you recall, last year's tournament saw...

-- Poa suffer a concussion
-- Williams sidelined with an injury the first 2 games, then they had to play her in the championship game some with Poa out
-- The clusterfrick at the end of the S. Carolina game with the pushing/taunting/Gamecocks being general assholes.

If she could figure out a way, I think Mulkey would not even take a team to Greenville. There really isn't much to gain.

Buddy you should consider taking a break because your brain is absolutely fried.

My post had literally nothing to do with race at all. Like not even a little bit. ‘Street ball’ is a term that was prevalent during the Wade days, hence the here we go again gif

Get your shite together bro.

Texass made 8 more FT's than we did. Texass won by 8 points. UT could guard us without as many fouls as we committed guarding them.

Texass won because they play D better than anyone in the country and because they made 21-21 FT's.

Texas played really well, especially the perfect 21/21 foul shooting. We missed six free throws in a game we lost by 7. We also turned the ball over 19 times and committed (well, were called for), 22 fouls.

It's too bad, because that game was there to be had if we had been able to get in a groove and put a run on them, but it just wasn't to be this time.

We played well on the road against a top 5 team. You lose some of these. A win would have been great, but we are still very well in the thick of things.

Exactly, our two losses were single digit losses on the road to top 3 teams.

To put it in perspective the Lady Cocks just lost by 30 at home to a 3-loss UCONN team that Tennessee defeated just recently.

Two or Three FIVE SECOND VIOLATIONS. UNREAL. How about a pick and roll to help get the bball in. Or a 1-4 set. Comeon Coach. INEXCUSABLE

Kim has acknowledged that she wishes she would have substituted more. I think the girls played there rear ends off and got tired late. There was no movement, no open passing against Texas late press so they rushed unmakable, off balanced shots with no one attempting to grab a rebound. Having said all of this LSU should have the confidence that when they aren’t warn out they can play with anyone in the country and are capable of winning it all. I agree with Coach Mulkey’s assessment that most of the ladies need a break in hopes they can be more active late in the game. Credit goes to Texas as they looked quicker late in both the LSU game and the SC game than they did earlier in those contests.

well they currently have us matched up with UCLA. I don't think we want that.
