Keep telling yourself Texas was a legitimate top ten team at that point if that makes you feel better. I’m not taking anything away from what LSU has accomplished but Texas proved they just arent a good team this year. Regardless LSU still has the best resume hands down

What you think is irrelevant. Like it or not they were a top 10 ranked team.

Tx was #9 the day we played them. PERIOD.
Moving this matrix is utter nonsense, allowing the committee to RE-write the narrative. Oh like Alabama #12. Conveniently giving us one less top ten win. What the f-ever.
Oh, and they put Tx at #9.

Gameday was in Austin. ESPN pimped the game all off season. Huge top-10 matchup. We don’t get penalized cause they yanked after we beat them. Not how this works.

The Texas win was big, on the road, game day was there, incredibly hostile environment, and it was a huge one at that point of the season - but they're a different team and just had to get rid of their coordinators. I would argue that Texas played their best game of the year that day. Watching them get destroyed by Baylor was just sad. I understand the graphic is about where they were ranked at the time but I agree that it's a little cringey to tout them as a skin on the wall. The rest of those wins are more than enough to justify being #1 IMO.
