4.5 million people in this state. People talk. Some know. Some wish they did. Believe what you want. I'm an educated man. I'm telling you what former players have told me. Names you would easily recognize.

I heard chip was on a plane flying into Baton Rouge to sign a contract worth $10 million per year, but had second thoughts. Time was running short and LSU rescinded the offer. I don't care if you believe me. I heard it from some former golden girls who are now very prominent pharma reps and housewives.

Don't blame Jimbo, a bunch of Jerry Jones wannabe "big-wigs" got played by the master, Jimmy Sexton. The joke is on them.

mrs. fisher stated yesterday that jimbo turned lsu down on tuesday because things are too complicated and they both love florida!

Since Jimbo is divorcing that ho, I doubt she had any say so in it.

Ok, believe what you want.

Miles was told at the END of the game he was being retained.
Alleva said the results of this game had no bearing on Miles being retained. How could both of these statements be true if something hadn't fallen apart previously?

LSU offered Jimbo Fisher a little over $6 million a year took coach, but his agent wanted closer to $7 million. Time was running short on both sides with games to play this afternoon and Fisher decided to inform his superiors he was staying in Tallahassee. LSU thought they had made Fisher a very fair offer. With no hand left to play LSU immediately launched into damage control and are now playing this entire affair as a misunderstanding. Joke. I don't care if you believe it or not. I know it to be true from former football players who are rather prominent businessman today. They are sick of the way this was handled as we all are. Worst of all, nothing will change next year.

I am personal friends with several dozen ex LSU athletes and I have been with all of them in the last ten days and each and every one said they have or had no clue what was going on.

They are football, baseball, swimmers, golfers and all are prominent in business.

All say Storm Warning knows not a single thing and is a liar.

Me? I'm just listening to them.

LSU offered "a little over six."

Jimbo and Sexton wanted "closer to seven."

Here's why I don't believe this.

If Alleva and the money men truly had no other hand to play, the would not have let a few hundred thousand stand in the way of making a deal with Jimbo.

Storm, I am hearing that there is still a split in the BOS that some do not want to spend $$$$ due to the poor position the academic side is in financially. There is not 100% support for a change and surely, not the way it was handled .....but there has to be a scapegoat.

I'm hearing some BOS are hunting a stronger AD that can hold Miles's feet tot the fire, and if he does make the legitimate personal scheme and personnel changes, he can stay on....or if he continues to go 8-3, 9-2 and 10-1 with no SEC West titles, embarrassing losses, no QB development or depth, predictable offense, etc..., then the changes will be made properly and without a major rumor mill debacle

"Chip" and "Golden Girls" are capitalized, and you are too immature to argue with.

they probably thought they had a deal initially then were asked to counter FSU's counter but couldn't get an assurance that their higher offer would seal the deal, thus they said "frick you", like they should have
