Ask yourself this, prior to LSU, what did Paul do at Notre Dame, or wherever, that made him an elite coach?

Did he make it to the CWS more than once? Just “getting in” the Regionals isn’t that great of a feat, imo. What was his post-regular season record? I bet, generally, it mirrors his time at LSU

Again, it’s Notre Dame. Since it’s not hard to do what he did there, I assume you can tell us that his successors have been able to at least match what he did, right?
