I think you need to check your history.

+1. Never take any SEC team lightly. Except Vanderbilt.

Squeaked out a win was wrong but rewatch the game and you will see they weren't playing a team that was anywhere close to playing college level ball. All that game showed me was that Memphis going to have a dismal year.

They got all excited about their redshirt freshman QB after the Memphis game last year. You saw how well that translated to the LSU game.

I hate to say it, because I am from there and still live close, and have always followed Memphis as a second team, but they seriously suck right now. They are a bottom 20 program in the FCS at this point. Larry Porter better get to work, or he will be back in purple and gold very soon.

For us to lose to Miss St:

Half of our team would need to be suspended; and

Les would have to run to the wrong sideline and stay there; and

Gary Crowton would have to call in plays from College Park.

Dont sleep on miss state there very good this year. Chris Relf is playing good Chad bumps is a dangerous receiver. Moo state is well coached and will stomp auburn this weekend. We are lucky they have a short week to prepare for us. Miss state is very good this year, Lsu wins a very very close game.

With the talent on this LSU team if we can't beat Miss State we don't deserve to be in Atlanta. We are talking about a team not nearly as talented as us. I don't care if we win by a point we shouldn't lose this game.

Barring changes due to injuries, the only team that beats us this year is going to do it with a power running game. Nobody is going to beat this defense with the spread or one good wide receiver.

Les-ticles "fear the sack" Miles is gonna pound the Bulldogs. You guys forget Les uses live cobras for condoms. It ain't bragging if your name is Les Miles. Les gives advice to Chuck Norris on snapping necks.

Exactly what State will be bringing. We should win, but It'll be a better game than UO...(pronounced "UHH OHH").

Les Miles castrates bulls with his teeth for breakfast. Jackie Sherrill has nothing on Lesticles.

No offense dude but Miss St has just that. Relf is a big 230 lb sucka that runs up the gut and breaks tackles. Vick Ballard is a big back with some speed that is an inside runner. Nobody is saying they'll beat us, and we should(and will) win by 10+.

Did yall see Ole Miss beating Florida in 08 and then whopping our arse the same year? Talent has little to do with it. They were pretty good the last few games last year and their QB has been improving since our game too.

I expect a hard fought 33-20 game.

The best team doesn't always win. With 18-22 year-olds, emotion plays a huge role. This is the biggest game in starkville in 100 years. They have this circled on their schedule. And their first 22 can compete with a little luck.

Our guys need to quit the self-congratulory crap over one game against a Pac-12 gimmick team and better damn well be focused on Sept 15th or an inferior team will end their title hopes that evening.

Oh, and then the same exact scenario follows 10 days later in Morgantown.

Moo State is an over hyped bunch of 2 star athletes. Every year we have a group on here that moan and groan about this being a "trap game" and "scary" as hell. What a crock of crap. Nothwestern State has a beter chance of getting within 20 than does Moo State.

Dude, I think we will win but come on... Miss State will challenge us. Forget recruiting, the product on the field is legit. They can play, but we will play better. LSU wins 27-17
