Lost it? The Hatter and his posse in the AD have us sitting pretty for this one. The Dogs will have a short 5 day week to prep for us after heading to the plains to face Auburn. We, on the other hand, have an entire week of Northwestern State game prep we can skip to get ready for Mississippi State. That's why I'm expecting some specific strangeness by design in this week's gameplan; running plays and formations inappropriate to NSU's gameplan in preparation for running them against MSU.

Also note, the Thursday game will give us 9 days to rest up/prepare for the road trip to Morgantown, as well (they'll be coming off a road trip to Maryland).

I'm loving the way this schedule shapes up, and I'm loving the matchups we have the next few games. State will be a powerfully good team this season but I think we match up with them very, VERY well.

That little fast dude on their team, either #16 or #19, is a quick and elusive WR(I think they should use him some at RB).

If they could use Vick and Relf to pound the ball, use #16/19 to spread out the D, and then get a few shots down field in play action to Bumphis, they could make it a game.

To me seriously, and I'm being honest here, I think state has a better defensive unit than Oregon and their offense is good enough to work on everybody, not just run up the score on weak front 7s.

We are a national championship contender. State is not. We will win in blowout style. No worries here
