well 1 out of 1 times it went our way, so if we extrapolate that, it would be 100 out of 100
You can't be serious.
Do you think Mass Confusion is some new wrinkle in the playbook. Why hasn't anyone else caught onto this, yet?

This can all be summed up very easily:
Miles is doing a great job as the HC at LSU in almost every area - recruiting, clean program, liked by players, good staff etc...
Miles struggles with clock management! At almost $4 million per, it is not unreasonable to expect competent clock management.

A small minority of fans at any school will dislike the head coach.

That being said, given what we all witnessed at Ole Miss last year, Tennessee this year and the Cap One bowl last year, I just think we should temper our enthusiasm for blindly signing off on Miles as our coach ad infinitum. Christ, just a few weeks ago, most of the Rantards were ready to string him alive. Now, after a couple of very nice wins, he's suddenly great again? Sorry, I don't buy it.
Fair enough, but you are cotradicting yourself a bit. You judge him harshly on three games, one that was a win, but he has a great record for 6 years. Now you're saying you don't buy that the next 6 years will be as good based on assumption. Well guess what, his first 6 years were tremendous, it will be very tough to duplicate the next 6. You say this because you know that already................. don't you.

How many times out of 100 does the end of the Tennessee game go our way?
I don't know.
How many times do we turn the ball over 4 times to their none?

the manner in which his record has been achieved calls into question the likelihood of the his next 6 years being as successful as his first 6 years.
I might bite on that nonsense if we talking 1, 2, or 3 years, but we are talking 6 years of winning, bowl games, national rankings, and overall never equaled success at LSU.
At some point you would think LSU fans would just say "ok, the man just keeps on winning and I'm gonna stop doubting him just cause he does things different from some or what I would do", but some of us refuse to enjoy the ride.
Each to our own.

I think the bottom line for Miles is that there is a higher expectation given the price tag we are paying. i think LM has surpassed expectations this season.
Les still has clock management issues.
I will be more upset with Miles if he does not get rid of Crowton or not allow his OC to call plays.
There are also questions about Roster Management. We have not done a great job with QB & OL recruiting and QB development. Part of that is the HC's job and part of that is the OC. With the talent we have, our offensive production is subpar.
Given Miles was a former OL, I expected our OL would be better. If all the kids committed end up signing and we get Robinson, we'll probably be ok, but we were very thin coming into this year at OL and QB.

Miles is disrespected by the media because he does not fit the mold. Weird syntax when he indulges in coachspeak. He likes to wear hgis hat perched on top of his head instead of jammed down around his ears. Hey I wear a size 8 and thats the only way I can stand to wear a hat. Miles does not appear to be "fiery" on the sidelines as he chooses to not embarass his players. Note that he makes sure that his back is to the camera when he is chewing out a player. finally, he goes against the "book" with his play calling. Compare it to a baseball manager who with a runner on third, 1 out, tie game in the 9th inning signals his clean up hitter to bunt. If it works he is a genius and if it does not he is an idiot. Now if he allows the #4 and #5 hitter to swing away and they both strike out then
he does not get near the criticism as the bunt strategy.
Let's face it, he is not what the media expects as they are unable to predict what he does and makes them look bad with their predictions. It is easier for the media to blast him than it is to embrace him.
The bottome line is that he wins without scandal.

When I hear the "miles won a NC with sabans players" I always ask "what was sabans record in 04 with those players and how did the bowl game turnout" and you get to see abunch of studdering.

The toughest thing for these fans to swallow, is that this has LMs signature written all over it. This is all his recruits and the best part is he has recruited better than Saban. Yes these fans will call BS on that, but check out the recruiting position by position since Saban has been at Bama. The proof is there. The scary part for these fans is the season isn't over and the outlook is great
Frick all you Miles Hater's.
