quote:the reason why I didn't put Tennessee in too was that I know they wouldn't put 3 SEC teams in even if it's obvious they do so. In my scenario the Pac cannibalize itself and TCU loses to Texas this weekend. I got Michigan beating Ohio St for a 2nd time and being #1. I got LSU going #2 after beating #1 UGA and them falling down. I got Ohio St at 3 and UGA at 4 because nobody is going to want to watch LSU vs UGA for a 2nd time as much, if it's not the championship game.
Best 4 teams would be UGA/LSU/Tenn and the Big10 champ.
UGA vs Michigan in a rematch from last year will be a big draw and Ohio St vs LSU will be a big draw. Now I will say this, I can see them having LSU at 4 and UGA dropping just one spot (Ohio St at 3). Then you have completly fresh matchups. Ohio St hasn't played UGA since 1993 and only played them once. LSU has never played Michigan.

If LSU were able to beat GA in the SECCG, who really thinks LSU would not likely beat TN in a rematch? And who thinks that TN would beat GA in a rematch?
I completely disagree with just about everything you posted.
Literally what actually happens on the field matters. Not what people “think” may happen if they play again. What a joke of a take.

but absolutely should be Ohio State, Michigan and Two from the SEC.
ohio state and michigan will cancel each other out. one of the two won't be in the top 4 at the end.

Bottom line; the CCGs are in essence playoff games.

You guys can hope all you want that LSU will get in as a 2 loss team.
They are not getting in over 1 loss UGA, even if lsu is that lone lost. That Oregon blowout has given them that cushion to lose a game and still make it.
They are not getting in over 1 loss Tennessee, especially if Tennessee kills their next 3 opponents. It’s hilarious that so many of you think that.
You guys would lose your shite if LSU had one loss and UGA or UF or UT made it to the playoffs with two losses and one of those losses was from us.

That said, neither is LSU. 10-3 & a Sugar Bowl is a hell of a year for this team. But we are not on Georgia’s level—yet!
All the talking heads said Bama was a bad matchup for the Tigers but look at the end result. Georgia might be another bad matchup for the Tigers too but I like CBK and the team's motivation goal.

I think the committee absolutely needs to highly value conference championships AND I could see a runner-up one-loss Georgia not getting the invite.
Committee selection will come down to wiggle room. A one-loss PAC champion southern cal seems a lock for the four team CFP but a similar oregon not so much if it’s bumping georgia from the CFP.
My rational for a two-loss SEC champion making the four team tournament is that champion as much as any team played their way into the CFP.

225 is right.... it's not what we think will happen (with our purple lenses) it's what the committee wants.
They only moved us up to help bama (we moved up on a bye week too). They will always justify Tenn over us because they beat us head to head.
