The big 10 has zero strength of record. You either win your conference or you're out.

Tennessee deserves to be in the playoffs over us. We played them at our place and got our arse whipped.

Our biggest hope is that they get upset in the next few weeks

And they got their arse whipped by UGA, and we would then beat UGA. Winning your division and your conference means something.

2 SEC teams in the CFP, and neither one is long-forgotten Tennessee if LSU beats the Committee's #1, UGA, 48 hours prior.

It’d be nice to see Tennessee lose again. We can speak in absolutes all we want, but nothing is guaranteed for us.

Best 4 teams would be UGA/LSU/Tenn and the Big10 champ.

TCU and Oregon would lose by 14+ to any of them.

Oregon beats Tenn and anyone from the Big ten.

The computer models and “eye tests” love Michigan. Especially if Ohio State blows the doors off in their championship game (which they will) I wouldn’t be surprised if Michigan got in ahead of Oregon, Tennessee, or a 1-loss TCU.

Committee doesn't favor Michigan

If I had to take a stab at it, I'd say if LSU beats UGA the final rankings:

1 Ohio State
2 LSU
3 UGA
4 USC or Oregon if either is 12-1

Ah, you....mostly no point responding but you act like it's impossible.

Oregon beat osu at osu last year with a worse team led by an inept coach.

Tennessee got manhandled by Georgia. Georgia didn't manhandle Oregon in an ugly loss in week 1.

I stand by what I said.

Big ten ain't shite. Tenn aren't what anyone thought they were. Oregon has the secondary to contain them and a balanced offense.

It's not that crazy.

That's not what was said. Sure it's possible. But you said no one from the B1G is beating Oregon. That's a crazy opinion.

At least give me your defense of this post

Before any of this possible, LSU has to win out. If they drop any of the final 3, there 0 chance they make the playoff, even if they win the sec championship. Sharps are already betting Arky +3 for Saturday

Yeah, TCU is not winning out. That said, neither is LSU. 10-3 & a Sugar Bowl is a hell of a year for this team. But we are not on Georgia’s level—yet!

Who thought we were on Bama's level a month before we played them?

But yea, who also would have thought this team could be SECW champs before the season? That person would have been laughed off the board. It would be a great season that exceeded everyone's expectations.

It isn't unprecedented. This is the playoff rankings the week of conference championship games. Lol at #2 Auburns record heading into the SEC championship game. Had they won that game Auburn would be in the Playoffs and Georgia would've been sitting home while Bama backdoored the playoffs.

1. Big 10 undefeated
2. Oregon one loss
3. Tennessee
4. LSU
5. Georgia
That almost seems like a troll.

CFP committee's task is to rank the best team, as in who would win the head to head game on the field. It's about how the team would play this coming weekend, and it's why timing matters. The fact that LSU caught fire after the Tennessee loss matters.

If LSU were to GA decisively in the SECCG, then it's:
LSU, GA, TN

LSU barely beats GA, then it's more likely:
GA, LSU, TN

If LSU were able to beat GA in the SECCG, who really thinks LSU would not likely beat TN in a rematch? And who thinks that TN would beat GA in a rematch?
