Agree that it sums it up pretty well.

I hope Lee isn't that depressed about all of this as he talks about.

It's just a game.

some fans don't realize that when they're giving him hell. I could see how he could be really down like that. It's sad.

I'm told that the pressure and the adversity this year have frayed Lee emotionally, so much so that at this point he goes to class, goes to practice and goes back to his room - and that's it. He even eats his meals in his room from what I understand.

I hate to hear stuff like that, and I think some of this is a real testament to the effects you can derive from "fans" acting like asses rather than support their players during tough circumstances.

Just...WOW. And he's right about the assfans.

John Ed Bradley tells of a QB(I forgot which one) while he as at LSU doing the same thing. I have been thinking of this all season. Seems like he turned into a successful NFL QB.

The Grades: Grades? Are you kidding me?

Everybody gets an F. Everybody.

Based on the effort I saw out there on Saturday, I'm not going to waste my time trying to find any value in what I saw. It was a purely failed effort across the board. Even the players you might say weren't totally ineffective out there still weren't good enough in any phase of football to make up for the hideous performances of the rest of their positions.

The biggest F goes out to LSU's seniors, who put forth a totally disgusting and disgraceful effort in their last game in Tiger Stadium. The second biggest F goes out to Miles and his coaching staff, who came out with completely uninspired game plans on both sides of the football, and made no adjustments during the game.

Beyond that, I'm not going to comment - it would be pointless to do so.

To the fans, it's just a game. To these players, it's not.

If he wants to play QB at LSU or any school, he has to learn to handle the pressure. Let's put this way, most pressure comes from the fact that Lee hasn't progressed. He kept making the same mistakes from his first game.

Miles need to do something. This defense is killing him, lots of people

Woodley, but I really think he was just a weirdo. And "a successful NFL QB" is a relative term. I suppose making it to the NFL is an achievement in itself, but he lost his job to Dan Marino at Miami.

I needed to double check to make sure I didn't write that article about the Defense.
It simply amazes me that people didn't realize that Pelini was putting a crap scheme on the field prior to this year. And then we just kept 2 guys to run the same crap scheme.

I hope that Miles shows that he has the balls to do what it takes on the defensive side of the ball, which is to fire anyone and everyone who had anything to do with this terrible D.

great post...if it was Germans its ok because i didn't see it the first time.

If Les tries to continue this same bad DC scheme I will lose a lot of respect for him.

Oh I think a few of us suspected it, but the NC sort of overcame the reservations, plus Bo left for Nebraska. It was when Miles hired the Malveto twins that I started wondering about his judgment (at least in that case). This season confirmed what I (and many others) feared - this was a bad hire, a bad choice, there is no justifying it. Nope.

It is sad if true. I feel for the kid. Hopefully he bounces back and lights it up in years to come.

do you notice when he comes to the sideline no one comes around him? he looks alone all the time. The guy may not be the most talented in the world, but he should never have been put in the position he was put in either.

This team has never been a true team all year and that's part of the problem, too.
